If so, then dietary analysis might be ideal - our comprehensive report will tell you if you are:
- eating the right balance of macronutrients - protein, fat and carbohydrate
- eating the right amount of calories for your age, weight and activity level
- getting enough fibre in your diet
- eating foods which provide you with enough micronutrients - vitamins, minerals and essential fats (omega 3 and 6)
- drinking sufficient water/fluids for good hydration
You will be asked to complete a 3 day detailed food diary. We take this information and generate a report based on figures supplied by the Food Standards Agency’s database of food compositions.
During the consultation, you will be provided with an individualised report which shows your nutrient intakes set against both government Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs) and ONIs (Optimal Nutrition Intakes).
You will be able to discuss these findings and how to optimise your diet with one of our team. The report also includes comprehensive information about nutrients, their health benefits and the foods in which they can be found. This information will help you to make changes to your diet based on the findings of the analysis.
