Our role is to educate, support and inspire you
to make positive changes
to your diet, lifestyle
and health

Our nutrition programmes are delivered in a minimum of two consultations. If you wish to pay for both consultations at the start, you will receive a discount - please see services and costs for more information.
Your health history will be discussed in detail, along with your current health goals. We may also carry out non-invasive in-house tests. In some cases, laboratory tests may be suggested but are not obligatory. Preliminary dietary advice will be given at this time.
If possible, we ask you to bring with you any medication or supplements that you are currently taking.
Your practitioner will then work with this information to develop an individually tailored programme that suits your needs and lifestyle. This will be presented to you in detail at the next consultation.
A follow-up consultation normally takes place 2-3 weeks later. Your practitioner will interpret test results (if applicable) and discuss your nutrition programme with you. This may include practical meal ideas, shopping guides and recipes. You will be given information that you can take away with you including your health plan, fact sheets and further resources.
Where appropriate dietary supplements may be recommended. These supplements are of a high quality - many can only be accessed through a health practitioner and are not available direct to the public.
Should you have any queries between visits then please contact us by phone or email – don’t wait until your next consultation.
Follow-up sessions enable us to monitor how you are getting on and also provide the opportunity for you to ask any questions. As your health improves, we will revise your programme accordingly. If you are finding it difficult to implement any part of your programme, we can provide nutritional coaching to help you make changes more effectively.
Food and nutrients work gently on the body - it takes time for changes in nutrient levels to impact upon how the body functions. Removal of an allergen or introduction of certain supplements may bring about rapid improvements but in most cases we suggest our clients anticipate gradual but long-lasting change over the course of 1-3 months. At Key Nutrition we see your progression towards good health as a journey and we are committed to supporting you all the way.
The number of follow-up sessions required will depend on your particular health concern. Our objective is to make you healthy so that you don’t become a long term client! While some clients will only require two sessions, we would anticipate seeing most clients 3 - 4 times.
There are some conditions which may require a longer-term relationship for sustained management. These include mental health, eating disorders or some chronic illnesses where the aim is to improve symptoms and quality of life.
